Bed Posts

The voice of independent accommodation providers

About Bed Posts

At its core, BedPosts is a Forum where members converse with one another, but that's not all. Increasingly, through the BedPosts website, it is a focus for:

  • Presenting a face to Joe Public
  • Advertising members' accommodation
  • Negotiating benefits for members
  • Knowledge and mutual help
Message Posts

The BedPosts internet forum consists of a number of message boards on which members initiate a discussion on a topic and other member contribute to the discussion with their own message posts (BedPosts get it?). The topics may be designed to:

  • Impart information
  • Express a view
  • Get help/advice from members
  • Tell a joke or funny story
Local Notice Boards
notice board

All members around UK have access to the national message boards described above. Additionally each member is subscribed to one (sometimes more) local message board for discussion of issues pertinent to a particular town or locality only. Members outside of the locality will not be able to even see let alone access such boards.

More about the Forum

The Forum consists of a number of message boards on which members raise topics. Members write messages in reply on these topics. It is friendly and inclusive in nature. Whilst members will express different points of view it is not confrontational. The reasons why it has such a great atmosphere and why members log in every day, often also when away on holiday:

  • Membership is not open, it is via registration and approval by the Administrator
  • It cannot be read by non-members or even Google
  • The members are all independent owners of serviced accommodation and collectively face the same problems and issues
  • There is a spirit of camaraderie
