Typically they search the Internet using keywords such as hotel, bed and breakfast, B&B, self-catering and cottage juxtaposed with a town name or area. Each town page of BedPosts has been search engine optimised to be found with such words and will bring a significant number of potential visitor referrals to members who advertise their accommodation.

Each member can have an advertisement on town/village pages within 10 miles of their location comprising:

• around 400 characters of text description
• contact information and
• website link

Users of THOR basic, an accommodation availability-check system provided free-of-charge by the sponsors Internet Results Ltd, can additionally have a brochure page comprising:

• 3 extra photos
