The BedPosts community has evolved a more formal not-for-profit association for the purposes of public relations activities, advertising, lobbying and supplier contacts. It sends out a periodic newsletter.

Though its members have advanced means of communicating with one another through the community software and modern telecommunications members meet together periodically. A meeting to determine aims for 2012 and beyond will take place in Oxfordshire in January.
